I never noticed Blaine watching from the background before.  That’s kind of cool. He saw his boyfriend talking with Dave, and he didn’t try to butt in, or freak out. He’s not jealous or scared.  It looks friendly, and Blaine’s like “Cool, I was hoping they could work their shit out.  Now they can be friends!”

Of course, Blaine’s pretty drunk in this moment, so it’s probably more like,

“OMG KURT AND DAVE ARE TALKING AND THERE’S NO FIGHTING!!!!!  YAYAY!!!!  NOW WE CAN ALL BE FRIENDS!  KURT AND DAVE AND SEBASTIAN AND ME!!!!  AND WE CAN HANG OUT AND MAKE ART AND HELP PEOPLE AND BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!  OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I saw this totally differently. Remember the confrontation in the hall where Blaine tells Karofsky they both know what’s really going on? What he meant (as proved in the last two episodes) was that he knew Dave likes Kurt. I think Blaine is absolutely the jealous type. I think what he’s seeing there is his boyfriend talking with someone, and he doesn’t necessarily recognize him as Dave (he is drunk) but he keeps an eye on Kurt just to make sure that nothing more flirtatious is happening. He trusts Kurt because Kurt is a very honest and open individual, but he isn’t entirely comfortable with the idea of other guys flirting with his boyfriend and doesn’t want to lose Kurt.
